About these terms
This website is operated by Native American Broadcasting Company, PO Box 571, Durango, Colorado 81302, as part of The Older & Wiser Project. By using this site you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.
Questions about these terms can go to help@olderwiser.org.
What this site is
The Older & Wiser Project is an educational and informational public safety campaign. Its purpose is to increase the use of public and non-profit transit services in Colorado by adults 65 and older, and to help drivers, their families and their caregivers think through when and how to stop driving.
Everything here is general information. It is published in good faith and kept as accurate as we can, but it is offered as a starting point, not as advice for your particular situation.
Not professional advice
Nothing on this site is medical, legal, financial or professional advice, and using the site does not create a professional relationship of any kind.
Decisions about whether it is safe for a particular person to continue driving depend on that person's health, medications, vision, cognition and circumstances. Those decisions belong to that person, their family, their doctor and, where licensing is concerned, the Colorado Division of Motor Vehicles. Please consult a qualified professional rather than relying on anything written here.
The Transit Savings Calculator
The Transit Savings Calculator produces a rough estimate from the figures you type in. It runs entirely in your browser, it does not know your actual costs, and it does not account for every expense of owning or operating a vehicle. Treat its output as an illustration, not as a financial projection, and do not rely on it for any financial decision.
Third-party organizations and links
This site lists and links to transit agencies, taxi and shuttle operators, tourism boards, government departments and non-profit organizations. Those organizations are not affiliated with this project. They are listed only to help with planning an auto-free lifestyle or trip.
We do not control them, we do not endorse them, and we are not responsible for their services, their information, their availability, their pricing, or anything that happens in your dealings with them. Schedules, fares, eligibility rules and contact details change frequently — confirm anything important directly with the organization concerned before you rely on it.
Accuracy and availability
We try to keep this site accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that it will be free of errors or uninterrupted. We may change, move or remove content at any time without notice.
Intellectual property
The text, images, audio, design and arrangement of this site are owned by Native American Broadcasting Company or used with permission, except where a third party's logo or material is shown and remains the property of its owner.

If you believe material on this site infringes your copyright, email help@olderwiser.org with enough detail to identify the material and we will look into it promptly.
Acceptable use
Please do not use this site to break the law, to interfere with its operation or security, to scrape it at a volume that degrades it for other people, or to misrepresent your relationship with this project.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Native American Broadcasting Company, The Older & Wiser Project and their affiliates are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site, from any information on it, or from any service provided by an organization listed on it.
This site is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Funding
This public service project is funded by a Colorado Department of Transportation Highway Safety Grant, with funds provided by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, an agency of the U.S. Department of Transportation. Publication here does not represent the official position of either agency.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
